Unfortunately in this day and age most of the major record labels in Christian music are owned by secular businesses a/o corporations. These labels are almost exclusively run as businesses and not as ministries. The artists that sign with these labels are very restricted and controlled as to what their music sounds like and more importantly what message their music communicates. This inevitably has caused many artists to compromise a/o abandon the vision and purpose God has placed on their hearts originally in order to be successful according to the music industry's standards. At Threshold Music we believe that there is a sound that Heaven is releasing at this specific time to accomplish a very specific purpose in the earth. We believe that the Lord is raising up singers, songwriters, musicians, and creatives that are not driven by fame and fortune, but desire to see the earth transformed by the sound of Heaven. We believe this sound should not be silenced just because a label is only concerned with the marketability or profitability of a project. We look to come alongside artists who stand true to the message and sound that Heaven is releasing into the earth.
